NetHope Academy Kenya Boot Camp

The NetHope Academy Kenya is a six-month long development program that prepares promising candidates for full-time careers in the IT field. Interns build upon knowledge gained through formal education becoming highly qualified and proficient IT professionals. NAIROBI, KENYA – June 14, 2012 – In March 2012, NetHope expanded its successful NetHope Academy program to Africa, making it available for the first time on the continent to students in Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa. NetHope Academy – a six-month program that provides computer science students with both classroom and on-the-job IT skills training – translates vocational training into private sector employment for young adults. NetHope Academy’s Intern Program Expanding into Kenya

NetHope Academy Kenya Interns February 2012. NetHope Academy’s Intern Program is now expanding to Sub Saharan Africa thanks to a generous grant from the Accenture Foundation and continued support from Microsoft, Cisco and Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. As part of NetHope’s Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), this expansion is a very exciting next step for the NetHope Academy as we continue our work to scale the development of young IT professionals in developing nations.
